Birla Estates’ vision for Birla Anayu was to deliver a luxury residential project that offers both privacy and panoramic views to its residents. The project required close attention to the design process, with the need for precise coordination, privacy, and seamless integration of various disciplines to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with client requirements.

The main challenge was managing design collaboration and ensuring the smooth integration of multiple disciplines, such as architecture, MEP, and structure, in a single cohesive model. The project also required a robust system for document and data management, along with efficient workflows for the design and execution teams.

BIM-Driven Solution for Seamless Design and Collaboration

The Studio4 team, working closely with Birla Estates and their project consultants, implemented Autodesk BIM solutions to streamline coordination and ensure efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Using the power of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate, and tailored BIM workflows, the team was able to create a seamless collaborative environment for all project stakeholders.

Key Solutions Used:

  • Common Data Environment (ACC): The Studio4 team set up Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as the common data environment to store and manage project data. This enabled efficient data management, version control, and ensured that all teams had access to the latest project information.
  • BIM Collaborate: With BIM Collaborate, real-time design collaboration was facilitated, enabling all stakeholders—architecture, structure, MEP, and other consultants—to work from the same centralized model, reducing conflicts and ensuring smooth design integration.
  • BIM Workflows: The Studio4 team implemented structured BIM workflows to ensure that each phase of the project was clearly defined and the right tasks were assigned to the right teams, optimizing the overall efficiency of the project.
